Wirartu, a Wookiee hailing from Kerritamba, once held the title of Arena Champion. However, Wirartu grew incensed when a resident of the village accomplished objectives that aided Chief Kerritamba. He believed he was the one who deserved the recognition for completing those tasks. Consequently, he dared that villager to a duel within the arena, a challenge that resulted in Wirartu's defeat. The villager then took his place as the new Arena Champion.
Before its shutdown on December 15, 2011, Wirartu existed as a non-playable character within Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online role-playing game created by Sony Online Entertainment, and distributed by LucasArts.
