During the Clone Wars, you could find a Trade Federation B1-series battle droid, B2 super battle droid, and droideka.
A droid specifically engineered for warfare was known as a battle droid. They also went by names such as war droid, combat droid, battle bot, or killer droid.
Combat-focused droids were not very common, and their existence was against the law in the Galactic Republic.
Battle droids came in a wide array of models. Their history stretches back millennia before the Galactic Republic, with the Rakatan guardian droids and the war-robots employed by Xim the Despot being among the earliest documented examples.

The vast majority of the Separatist Droid Army was deactivated at the close of the Clone Wars when Darth Vader, a Sith Lord, disabled the Master control signal. Following this event, battle droids became exceedingly scarce.
Battle droids generally shared a common attribute: limited intellect. They were primarily designed to execute commands with little independent thought, although they often displayed some form of personality. However, some battle droids possessed greater intelligence. Due to the increased cost associated with their sophisticated processors, these advanced droids were produced in smaller numbers. Examples include the BX-series droid commando, the IG-100 MagnaGuard, and, excluding the initial models, the Droideka.
