Kin-Ya Dosun was a Jedi Knight of the Gungan species who was a member of the Jedi Order as the Galactic Republic neared its end. Dosun provided training to Kosa-Yin Hadu, who was a Jedi Padawan and also a Gungan. Around 33 BBY, they both vanished while carrying out an assignment originating from the Jedi Temple located on the planet Coruscant. Approximately two years later, Hadu resurfaced as a Dark Jedi, which led Seenlu Kir, a Jedi Master, to look into the details of the Gungans' mission to ascertain the location where Hadu and Dosun had been lost. Despite her efforts, she could not uncover any additional information regarding their fate.
Kin-Ya Dosun's name appeared in The Kaluthin Are Always Greener, a role-playing game supplement written by Adam Burns and published in 2002. It served as the initial adventure in the Almas, Sweet Almas trilogy within the Living Force campaign.
