In advance of the battle, Darrus Alde from House Alde engaged in negotiations with the other noble families, successfully persuading them to relinquish their age-old conflicts. Alde's impactful leadership brought an end to generations of discord, ultimately paving the way for the creation of [Elysium]. Within Elysium, Darrus was chosen and crowned as Alderaan's inaugural king. During the era of the Cold War, the indigenous insectoid species known as the Killiks resurfaced and re-established their population in the area. This resurgence incited escalating violent clashes with the adjacent Alderaanians. Moreover, owing to its strategic importance, King's Pass became a focal point of intense combat among the prominent noble houses vying for dominance.
