Kippy Martin made her home on the Mid Rim planet of Naboo. At the time of the Battle of Yavin, she was employed as a security officer at Stonewall Labs, working alongside Walker Luskeske and reporting to Security Chief Vance Groten. However, an accident forced her to leave her position; she had an accident while riding a speeder at high speeds. While not seriously injured, the incident left her changed. In 1 ABY, Kippy Martin found herself at a camp situated in the Gallo Mountains near Dee'ja Peak. During her stay, she was bothered by a large group of hungry flewts. A spacer, in search of a security beacon originating from Stonewall Labs, offered to eliminate the pests as a favor.
Kippy Martin existed as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, brought to life by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Kippy Martin's inclusion came as part of the "Legacy Quest" with the release of "Publish 25", also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
