Kirbat, also referred to as Kirbat the Unready, held the position of chancellor. While Kirbat was chancellor, a polysteel likeness of the Tionese Despot Xim was built at a manufacturing plant located on the planet Centares. The historian Bleys Harand referenced both Kirbat and the statue in his book Travels Amid Strange Stars, a work dedicated to discovering a reliable representation of Xim.
Kirbat's initial mention occurred in 2013 within the third part of Star Wars: The Essential Guide to Warfare Author's Cut. This was a collection of articles on the StarWars.com blog, which presented content removed from The Essential Guide to Warfare. Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart authored the post, but they did not specify Kirbat's gender, species, or the location and time period of Kirbat's chancellorship.
