The Despot was a vessel utilized by the Imperial forces around 13 BBY. Following the successful infiltration of Ryloth by rebel smugglers operating from the YT-209 freighter named Eclipse, who landed near the urban center of Lessu, Moff Delian Mors instructed Karris to get in touch with the Despot and instruct them to be vigilant for an unsanctioned departure of the Eclipse. Despite the Despot's attempt to turn around, the Eclipse successfully evaded capture, fleeing Ryloth and jumping into hyperspace.
