Kit (Tintinna)

Kit was a colleague of the mechanic Shug Ninx, specifically a Tintinna. Initially, upon encountering the Tintinna, the spacer incorrectly assumed it was a simple creature lacking intelligence. Finding the Tintinna exceptionally endearing, he adopted it as a companion aboard his vessel, giving it the name Kit. However, in a mere forty-eight hours, the Tintinna had reorganized Ninx's implements based on their dimensions, form, and purpose, and even executed certain maintenance tasks on the spacecraft. Ninx then understood his error and elevated Kit to the status of a collaborator, rather than a mere animal.
