Kortatka, a planet with landmasses intersected by rivers, existed as a terrestrial world. After the Galactic Empire suffered a loss at the Battle of Endor, a splinter group of Imperials took control of Kortatka. As part of their revived Operation: Cinder, the planet experienced an attack from the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, who were loyal to the Empire and considered Kortatka traitorous.
