Korven, also known by her designation Cipher Fourteen, was a Cipher Agent working for Imperial Intelligence. She was a Human female who lived through the era of the Galactic War.
While serving the Sith Empire, she received numerous awards, but was also censured for employing tactics considered too extreme, even by the Sith. Her notoriety as a heartless, power-hungry, and unethical person ultimately became a detriment when fellow agents hesitated to collaborate with her due to concerns about betrayal, hindering her professional advancement. This situation contributed to her eventual defection, and she was later implicated in several acts of terrorism against the Empire.
After the demise of Empress Vaylin and the establishment of the Eternal Alliance in 3630 BBY, Korven resurfaced as the head of a dissident group of Sith who had abandoned the Empire. Based at the Vanguard Station, they initiated attacks on and destruction of nearby Alliance installations. These actions ultimately led to the Alliance launching a retaliate strike, and Korven met her end while defending the Vanguard Station from this assault.
The character of Major Korven is featured in the "Fractured" Uprising as the final boss encounter in Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Eternal Throne.
