The Krabbex represented a type of crustacean species that originated from the ocean-covered world called Dac. Key features included ten legs, a mouth equipped with two mandibles, two spinal rows of spines, eighteen black eyes (with four situated at the front), and claws designed for grasping. The Mermen from Mon Calamari frequently hunted Krabbex. One of the exhibits within the Holographic Zoo of Extinct Animals located on Coruscant featured it.
