Kressis, a Trandoshan male, resided on the planet Almas during the declining years of the Galactic Republic. His occupation involved being the main harvester on a kaluthin farm, owned and operated by the farmer known as Rashen Sotose. Around 31 BBY, while Kressis was operating a harvester vehicle, the farm was subjected to an attack by the Believers, a Sith cult based on Almas. After the assault, the farm was deserted, and Kressis made his way to Building 49-A, which was the sole cantina on Almas. During their investigation into a Believer scheme to contaminate all the kaluthin on Almas, the Heroes of Cularin—a team of independent agents—visited the cantina and encountered Kressis.
Kressis consented to escort the agents to the Sotose farm, and they traveled there using an airspeeder. Upon their arrival, Kressis provided the agents with details about the farm's characteristics and layout, while he remained inside the speeder, tightly holding a blaster rifle and anxiously surveying his surroundings. Subsequently, the Ithorian scientist named Gilloma contacted the agents via a comlink, relaying information about a Believer sighting at a nearby farm. The agents departed to investigate, and Kressis opted to stay behind, guarding Sotose's farm.
Kressis made an appearance in The Kaluthin Are Always Greener, which is a role-playing module that was a component of the Living Force campaign. During the scenario, the player characters—role-playing as the Heroes of Cularin—meet Kressis, and if they mention that they are acting on behalf of the Forard research station, he offers to guide them to the Sotose farm.
