Approximately 3000 BBY, Sith Acolytes concealed a holocron inside a fortified mountain location on the world. The planet's capital city subsequently developed in proximity to those ruins, and the holocron was discovered by the staff of the noble Regera Girawn. She was changed by the powers within it, resulting in burns to her face and hands as it was destroyed. Her latent Force abilities were revealed, but the constant visions drove her mad, and she terrorized those under her rule.
Sometime after Girawn was removed from power and escaped her territory, the planet re-established communications with the Galactic Republic. Having predicted this, Girawn boarded the Republic exploratory vessel by force, enslaved the crew, and embarked on a journey across the galaxy to locate additional individuals sensitive to the Force.
