Sith holocron (Kruskan)

A Sith holocron was secreted away on the Outer Rim planet of Kruskan by Sith acolytes three millennia prior to the Battle of Yavin. Later, the retainers of Regera Girawn, a local noblewoman, located the artifact and presented it to their lady. As Girawn held the holocron, it detonated with a purplish flash, leaving scars on the woman's face and hands, while simultaneously unlocking her latent Force abilities. These newfound abilities bestowed upon her visions that unhinged her mind, prompting her to traverse the galaxy seeking out Force-sensitive followers.

Description

The Sith holocron, concealed on the planet of Kruskan, exhibited a form akin to a throbbing orb. Upon physical interaction with the Force-sensitive individual Regera Girawn, the holocron underwent an explosive event, releasing a burst of purplish light. This event activated Girawn's inherent Force potential, imbuing her with visions spanning the past, present and future. The resulting blast also left her face and sanity scarred and twisted.

History

Rigera Girawn was scarred when the holocron exploded in her hands.

Three millennia prior to the Battle of Yavin, Sith acolytes journeyed to the remote world of Kruskan, situated within the Outer Rim Territories. There, they concealed a Sith holocron within a mountain stronghold, located not far from the site that would eventually become the capital city of the planet.

At a later time, the servants of a local noblewoman, Regera Girawn, stumbled upon the holocron during excavations of the ruins in the mountain. Transporting the holocron to Girawn's palace, the servants presented the artifact to their mistress. Upon Girawn's handling of the holocron, it unleashed a burst of light that obliterated the holocron and left the noblewoman's hands and face severely burned. The power emanating from the artifact triggered Girawn's latent Force abilities, bestowing upon her visions in which she envisioned herself leading an army of dark disciples.

The power and the visions she acquired from the holocron drove Girawn to madness, resulting in her deposition by her subjects. Utilizing her newly awakened Force powers, Girawn absconded from her planet and, in an attempt to fulfill her visions, wandered throughout the galaxy in search of Force-sensitives to serve as her disciples.
