He worked alongside Geddy, Grintlok, and an unidentified Feeorin, with the intention of extracting ransom money for her safe return. Following Grintlok's recruitment of Han Solo to transport the princess to their hideout located on Raltac III, Raze made contact with the group. Raze offered them a substantial sum to instead rescue the princess. On Cataalda, the quartet ambushed Solo, intending to eliminate him to reach Mi. However, Raze and Arturo arrived at their location. Mi recognized the group as her abductors, and Raze assured Arturo that he would handle them directly.
