Kyaddaks were gigantic, Force-sensitive insectoid beings originating from the world of Christophsis. These creatures possessed numerous saw-like appendages that generated a distinctive tak-tak-tak noise as they traversed the Crystal forests that comprised their natural environment. Furthermore, Kyaddaks exhibited multiple heads, each equipped with a multitude of eyes. During the year 5 ABY, a kyaddak pack pursued a band of travelers transporting kyber crystals back to their point of origin.
