The Lasan High Honor Guard, a group of warriors dedicated to protecting both the royal family and the citizens of Lassan, provided its security. In 7 BBY, when the Galactic Empire came to exterminate the Lasat, the Honor Guard, under the leadership of Captain Garazeb Orrelios, engaged in combat to defend the royal residence. Despite their efforts, the Empire was victorious and killed the majority of the planet's population. During the conflict, Orrelios was knocked unconscious by an explosion and awoke to find the residence and his people destroyed. In 3 BBY, Orrelios recounted the battle to his fellow rebel Ezra Bridger, detailing the struggle for the residence and the consequences of the siege.
