No matter how speedy your spacecraft is, you can't escape what's already happened....

THEN:

A perilous secret exists within the galaxy: a puzzling transmitter boasting an unknown force, coupled with an immense reward for whoever unearths it. The individuals who have piloted the Millennium Falcon throughout its storied past are far from ordinary rogues. Twice, the Falcon's crew attempts to seize this elusive prize—first, Lando Calrissian and the droid L3-37 at the start of an aspiring career, and later, a youthful and eager Han Solo, aided by his co-pilot, Chewbacca. However, the device's creator, the unpredictable criminal Fyzen Gor, has no intention of sharing. And Gor is known for his long-held resentments....

NOW:

A decade has passed since the rebel hero Han Solo last crossed paths with Fyzen Gor. Having spearheaded a victorious rebellion against the Empire and built a family with an Alderaanian princess, Han hasn't spared much thought for the deranged inventor. Yet, when Lando arrives at Han's residence in the dead of night, he's fleeing Fyzen's hired killers. Without Han's assistance, Lando—and all life residing on Cloud City—faces total destruction.

Joined by a skilled young pilot, an Ewok slicing prodigy, the woman who could be the love of Lando's life, and Han's loyal, furry companion, the two most infamous scoundrels in the New Republic are collaborating once again. Their journey will take them across the cosmos—and back in time—to prevent Gor from using the device's power to reshape the entire galaxy.
