Within the Coruscant Underworld, Laurel Canyon could be found as a stop along the subtram line. Subtram trains featured maps that indicated this location, in addition to Sunset, Valley Village, North Hollywood, Beverly Blvd, Burbank, Lucasville, LAAC, Filoniville, Couch House, Skinwalker, RGC, Letterman, Skywalker Ranch, Big Rock Ranch and Skinwalker Ranch.
The inclusion of Laurel Canyon on the subtram route map was a playful inside joke. The Star Wars: The Clone Wars production staff added it, along with other destinations, as a reference to the real-world neighborhood of Laurel Canyon. This neighborhood is situated within the Hollywood Hills area of the Santa Monica Mountains.
