Leekz Kleng was a Gran of the male persuasion operating within the galaxy, specifically a Gran from the Legends continuity, who maintained connections with various independent Gran assassins around 22 BBY according to the galactic year system. During this period, an anonymous individual, regarding Kleng as a dangerous criminal, put a price on his head. This individual offered a reward of 4000 credits for Kleng's live apprehension, or alternatively, 2500 credits for confirmation of his death. Kleng also associated with Sebolto, the Dug king and a notable crime lord; Kleng frequented the planet Malastare, which served as Sebolto's base of operations.

In the year 22 BBY, the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett made his way to Malastare. His objective was to capture Sebolto and uncover any connections he had with the Bando Gora cult. As Fett journeyed through the dense jungles of the planet, aiming to reach Sebolto's Palace, he was ambushed by Kleng, who initiated an attack using a blaster. However, the skilled Mandalorian successfully subdued the Gran, taking him into custody alive and thereby claiming the bounty that had been placed on him.
