He suffered from a thyssel bark dependency that discolored his teeth and led to a fever wasps infestation, all coinciding with Mace Windu's arrival on Haruun Kal amid the Summertime War. To halt the wasps' proliferation and relieve Lesh's suffering, Nick Rostu proposed his termination, but Mace Windu carried out the act personally. Despite Lesh's demise, the wasps continued to spread, reaching Chalk and Besh too.
