Overliege

A liege in the time of the Clone Wars The Ukian Overliege, also known as simply the Overliege, was the monarch ruling over Ukio. At the start of the Clone Wars, an unidentified liege held this position, and he greeted Padawan Tyzen Xebec upon his arrival to the planet. The chaos of the war brought his reign to an end. Following the battle of Ukio, he was removed from power when Ukio chose to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

In 22 BBY, Topas dosLa became the new Overliege. He presided over Ukio's secession from the Galactic Republic. By 5 ABY, Gol dosLa was the Overliege, although his son, Tol dosLla, primarily acted as his spokesperson.

During the Imperial Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo's attack on Ukio in 9 ABY, the Overliege surrendered the planet. He did so because turbolaser fire appeared capable of breaching the planetary shields, but this was actually a complex deception.
