The Sith Lord Darth Noctyss possessed an old lightsaber with a red blade, known as the lightsaber of Darth Noctyss. This lightsaber later fell into the hands of another Sith Lord, Viceroy Exim Panshard, who used it for a time before it was placed inside a bronze container. Following the collapse of the Galactic Empire, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and Church of the Force member Lor San Tekka sought to locate Noctyss' lightsaber, along with other relics associated with her, but their efforts proved fruitless. In 21 ABY, the box holding the weapon was located on a core ship situated on Kiza's world; after destroying Kiza's other lightsaber, the spirit of Panshard told the Pantoran female Kiza to take Noctyss' lightsaber and use it, just as he once had.
