Little Atullus existed as an astronomical body within the Inner Rim, found within the Anthos sector. It served as the original homeworld of a soldier who fought for the Galactic Republic. During the Tionese War, during this soldier's childhood, merchants hailing from the planet of Brentaal convinced the boy's parents to purchase some farmland located on Okator VIII. After relocating to their new farm on Okator VIII, the boy gradually forgot about Little Atullus, despite the fact that it continued to appear in their dreams.
Little Atullus was a terrestrial world situated in the Little Atullus system, itself a component of the Anthos sector in the Inner Rim.
A Galactic Republic soldier once called Little Atullus their homeworld. When the Tionese War raged, the soldier, still a boy, had their parents sink all their savings into a plot of land on Okator VIII, a celestial body known as the Divide, offered by traders from the planet Brentaal in the Core Worlds.
The boy and their parents departed Little Atullus and made their way to Okator VIII. As time passed, the boy's life on the farm led them to forget their original home, even if dreams of it persisted. The boy survived a Tionese attack on Okator VIII around 23,900 BBY that destroyed their family's farm, and subsequently became a soldier for the Republic. In an account of the attack imprinted on a Baragwin sense lattice years later, the soldier characterized the traders on Little Atullus who had sold their parents land as "hotshots" and further noted that many on Little Atullus at the time had claimed that a better life awaited potential settlers on "unspoiled" worlds beyond the region known by then as the Rim—a sentiment with which the soldier partially agreed with regard to their pastoral life on Okator VIII.
The reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare from 2012, penned by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart, was initially intended to include a mention of Little Atullus. However, the section containing this reference was removed before the book was published.
Later, in 2014, this information about Little Atullus was revealed as part of Star Wars: The Essential Guide to Warfare Author's Cut, a series of articles posted on the StarWars.com Blog by Fry and Erich Schoeneweiss which contained content that had been cut from The Essential Guide to Warfare. According to the Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was available on StarWars.com, the Little Atullus system, and therefore the celestial body itself, was located in grid square N-8.
