Llaya
The llaya was an inhabitant of the planet Kinyen, a world located in the Expansion Region, and could be dwelled upon. These creatures posed a danger to the gamwidge farmers' livestock; however, they could be repelled by Tayan falcons, a type of bird known for their piercing cries and aerial assaults. The tactics employed by these falcons to frighten off the llayas were symbolic of the pacifistic ideals and practice of exile within the indigenous Gran species of Kinyen.
Behind the scenes
The llaya received a mention within Strongholds of Resistance, a Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game sourcebook from 2015. It was released by Fantasy Flight Games for the Star Wars Roleplaying series.
