Lock-codes

Access codes found utility on both the external and internal access points of structures. Certain portals were configured with dual access codes.

As an illustration, access codes secured the entryways of Granta Omega's Blackwater Systems installation, situated outside of Falleen Throne, the primary metropolis of Falleen, preceding the era of the Clone Wars. A subset of these portals required two codes for entry.

Furthermore, access codes were implemented for the entry points of residential dwellings, like those located on Coruscant, circa 7 ABY. In an effort to curb the propagation of the Krytos virus, some afflicted persons would secure their home's entrances and randomize the access codes to deter others. Health authorities employed access-decryption devices in their attempts to reach these individuals.

The access-interface served as the input mechanism for the access code, generally affixed to the entry points themselves.
