Lor Botho, a miner employed by Red Mine, held a leadership position in the village of Charbana. Their akassia mining activities triggered earthquakes that devastated Charbana. Following the death of the village's leader, her daughter, Gria Cappo, held the mining company responsible for the seismic events and sought an explanation from Lor Botho. This occurred just as Jedi Master Mirro Lox and his Padawan, Amadeo Azzazzo, arrived in the village. Lor attempted to eliminate them using poison gas, but the Jedi successfully thwarted his plan. Ultimately, he and his fellow miners were taken into custody.
