Lost Prophet
The figure known as the Lost Prophet began his life as a clone trooper fighting for the Galactic Republic's Grand Army. Near the conclusion of the Clone Wars, this particular trooper's ARC-170 starfighter crashed on the desert planet of Du Mai. The crash resulted in head trauma, leading him to randomly speak fragments of his original conditioning and flash training that he underwent in the hatcheries of Kamino, the clone production facility. Seeking shelter in a mountain cave on Du Mai, his displays of mental disarray were misinterpreted by some as evidence of psychic abilities, thus giving rise to the moniker Lost Prophet. People began making pilgrimages to Du Mai to seek his counsel, all the while he simply repeated garbled segments of his military programming. In 21 ABY, Cindel Towani, a journalist, uncovered the reality of the Du Mai seer, revealing him to be a clone with brain damage from the Clone Wars period.
