Summary from the Publisher

Picture a world governed by a Sith tribe—stranded millennia in the past and isolated from the wider galaxy. In this setting, the current ruler is about to face a challenge from both a Sith rebel originating from the impoverished districts, driven by a thirst for power, and a frustrated Sith princess of royal lineage! Despite their differences, they find some common ground that leads them on a shared journey—though certainly not as allies!

Synopsis of the Plot

Parlan Spinner, a Sith outcast and leader of the criminal organization Spinner's Web, causes a disruption during celebrations commemorating the Lost Tribe of Sith's arrival on Kesh almost three millennia prior. Spinner's attempt to assassinate Grand Lord Varner Hilts fails, and he is instead captured by his daughter Takara Hilts, who serves as the Prefect of the Tahv Constabulary. Despite the objections of his wife, Iliana Hilts, and Takara, Lord Hilts decides to spare Spinner's life, who initially faced a death sentence. Spinner is then assigned to work as a sailor on the wooden sailing vessel Southern Star, captained by the Alanciari Captain Chegg, tasked with exploring and surveying the polar continent of Eshkrene located in the South Pole.

However, Takara secretly boards the ship, intending to travel to [Alanciar](/article/alanciar], unaware of the true purpose of the expedition. Both she and Spinner are assigned to manage the ship's sails by Captain Chegg. Once the ship reaches Eshkrene, they attempt to escape using the Southern Star, but Chegg and his crew pursue them, seeking to kill the two Humans for "mutiny." A group of cloaked figures intervenes, saving Spinner and Takara by eliminating Chegg and his men with arrows. These individuals identify themselves as the Doomed.
