LV-15, a protocol droid, originated from Uffel, which is a moon found within the Cularin system. Notably, Uffel was solely inhabited by droids. Around 31 BBY, the droids living on Uffel decided to welcome visitors to their world, and LV-15 started his job as a tour guide. At the landing pads of Uffel, he encountered a group of tourists that contained the Heroes of Cularin. He then led them to the city called X2-4, where he transferred the group to another droid named HG-211. Afterward, he accompanied the same tour group to the production facility in X2-4 that manufactured military-grade droids, explaining that it had recently been forced to shut down because of sabotage.
