The abode of Mak Luunim served as the residence for the Muun Mak Luunim, and it could be found on the twenty-third story of a structure situated within the urban sprawl of Pilaan, which itself was located on the planet of Muunilinst. The apartment's interior was replete with numerous artistic creations, each portraying the likeness of Luunim.
In the year 0 ABY, in the immediate aftermath of Luunim's death, Princess Leia Organa, accompanied by her fellow Rebels Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Chewbacca, made a visit to his apartment while undertaking a mission on behalf of the Rebel Alliance. Luunim's employee ushered them into the apartment, only for them to be met with an ambush orchestrated by six stormtroopers in the service of Nal Kenuun, a Muun gambler who was responsible for Luunim's demise. A brief conflict erupted, ultimately resulting in the Rebels' successful escape, albeit with the apartment sustaining substantial damage.
