A Human male character named Marcus Gaw held the title of bloodlord within the Darkwalkers organization throughout the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, he met his end when a member of the Royal Naboo Security Forces killed him during the rescue operation to free Karl Eckener, who had been taken hostage by the Darkwalkers and held in their cave.
In the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Marcus Gaw was featured as a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and brought to the public by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Gaw's inclusion in the game was part of the "Legacy Quest" update, introduced with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
