Mark Brooks is an artist well known for his sketch card contributions to the Star Wars: 30th Anniversary Trading Card Set. Currently, he is employed by Marvel Comics as a comic book artist, where he created the artwork for the Star Wars: Han Solo miniseries. George Lucas was interested in acquiring Brooks' original artwork from the first and second issues of the series. Furthermore, he produced the cover art for eleven issues of Star Wars: Kanan and all five issues of the Star Wars: Vader Down crossover event.
Brooks has also illustrated a variety of other Marvel series, including Dark Reign: Young Avengers, Ultimate X-Men, and Ultimate Fantastic Four. More recently, he provided every cover for the Secret Empire event and the Avengers: No Surrender storyline.
