Marquess
The Marquess was a female lawbreaker who, at some point in time, had an association with the pirate named Hondo Ohnaka. She gave aid to Ohnaka while he was conducting an auction for a fraudulent copy of Maz Kanata's Journal. She and Hondo conducted three distinct auctions, one for each forgery that Bar the Rotter produced. The prospective buyers were unaware of the other simultaneous auctions until after the crew had successfully gathered all of the credits.
Biography
After Hondo departed Florrum, taking his top forger, who was intoxicated, aboard his vessel, he made his way to Balmorra to rendezvous with the Marquess. She successfully bargained for a 30% share of the proceeds from the fake auction, a deal to which Hondo consented. The initial auction was held above the casino floor within Zirtran's Anchor, which was considered one of the most secure chambers in the Phosphura Belt. Representatives from three different criminal syndicates were present: the Rang Clan, the Xrexus Cartel, and the Novabarrel Distillery, a Hutt enterprise. The Marquess took on the role of a security officer. Regrettably for the attendees, the Rang brought along a document authenticator, which quickly led to widespread disorder. The Marquess activated a mechanism that caused all screens to display a blinding white light simultaneously, a tactic anticipated only by the crew. The three organizations rushed toward the turbolift, but the Xrexus Cartel had brought a droideka, and Hondo sealed the doors the instant he was inside, abandoning her to her fate.
