The designation of master armorer existed within both the Je'daii Order and the Imperial Knights. This title was given to a Master who had the duty of creating unique armors that could sustain the lives of Imperial Knights with critical injuries. During the era of the Second Imperial Civil War, Hogrum Chalk held the position; he was a previous Imperial Knight who, following a terrible incident, required his own life-sustaining armor and was secretly a Sith Imperial agent.
