Master Sergeant denoted a specific rank in the military belonging to the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Due to their cynical and exacting natures, Alliance E522 assassin droids working for the Rebel Alliance Intelligence Service were often likened by operatives to "everyone's least favorite Master Sergeant."
