Mayth Duvel

Mayth Duvel served as a Black Sun sublieutenant amidst the backdrop of the Galactic Civil War. Numbered among the scant few devoted servants of the Dark Prince Xizor, Underlord of Black Sun, he possessed the rare authorization to enter Xizor's private chambers situated on the world of Coruscant. Duvel's meeting with Xizor transpired in 3.5 ABY, where he conveyed a request from the criminal Nezriti Organization for a collaborative partnership with Black Sun.

Biography

During the Galactic Civil War, Mayth Duvel held the rank of sublieutenant within the Black Sun criminal organization. He was a devoted subordinate of Black Sun's leader, the Dark Prince Xizor—at least, as devoted as fear could make one. Duvel was one of a select few of Xizor's underlings granted the privilege of visiting the Dark Prince inside his personal sanctum located on the planet of Coruscant.

Months following the Battle of Hoth in 3.5 ABY, Duvel gained entry to Xizor's sanctum, carrying with him a plea from the Nezriti Organization. Humbly bowing before his superior, Duvel communicated the rival criminal syndicate's desire to form an alliance with Black Sun and presented Xizor with a small package containing a bloodred Tumanian pressure-ruby. This rare gemstone, valued at several million credits, was intended as a gesture to gain Xizor's favor. However, the Dark Prince indifferently tossed the offering onto his desk, seemingly unconcerned if it ended up as refuse. Xizor then dismissed Duvel, instructing him to inform the Nezriti that Black Sun would give their offer consideration.
