The MC75B Star Cruiser represents a class of Mon Calamari Star Cruiser that participated in the Citizens' Fleet during the Battle of Exegol. This battle took place in 35 ABY and involved the Resistance against the forces of the Sith Eternal.
The hull design of the MC75B Star Cruiser bore similarities to the standard MC75 Star Cruiser. However, significant differences included the absence of a bridge extending below the hull and the incorporation of sizable fins towards the vessel's rear. Furthermore, the MC75B featured an additional module positioned near the rear engines, contributing to a more robust appearance at the back of the ship. The MC75B also possessed a hyperdrive, enabling it to navigate through hyperspace on its journey to the Unknown Regions.
In 35 ABY, when Darth Sidious intended to unleash the Sith Eternal's fleet, known as the Final Order, upon the galaxy, numerous MC75B Star Cruisers were part of the extensive Citizens' Fleet assembled by General Lando Calrissian for the journey to Exegol. During the subsequent battle against the Sith Eternal forces, many MC75B Star Cruisers were among the ships incapacitated by a massive Force lightning attack unleashed by the Sith Lord. Following Sidious's demise at the hands of the Jedi Rey, the remaining Sith forces were vanquished, and the Citizens' Fleet departed from the Sith world.
The MC75B Star Cruiser made its debut in Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, the concluding chapter of the Star Wars saga and the sequel trilogy. Its identification occurred in a Star Wars By the Numbers segment on StarWarsKids.com in 2020.
