Stationed in the Jedi Temple's hangar, Fonox's duties included the upkeep of droids and ships. She escorted Obi-Wan Kenobi to a T-5 shuttle, guiding him through the pre-departure checks before his journey to an obscure planet. The mechanic then presented the padawan to A6-G2, the astromech droid set to accompany him on his travels. Kenobi's courteous greeting to the droid brought amusement to the Ortolan.
While Kenobi was awaiting departure, he asked about the status of Count Dooku's vessel, as Dooku had been at the Temple. Fonox shared that it had departed the prior evening, and she did not know if Dooku had any passengers. She was there when Kenobi came back to the Temple, but she was too preoccupied to see the damage to the shuttle.
