Mellichae was a male Zabrak Dark Jedi of the Legends continuity, notable for possessing a cybernetic arm, donning Mandalorian armor, and leading the Sith Shadows on the planet Dathomir during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
In an effort to curry favor with the Emperor, Mellichae and his followers persistently launched assaults on the village of Aurilia, aiming to either eliminate or abduct the Force-sensitive inhabitants. A Force-sensitive individual, dispatched by the figure known as the Old Man, ultimately triumphed over him and confined him within the village.
At a later point, following a stormtrooper attack on Aurilia, Mellichae managed to escape. Two days later, a Rebel operative arrived in the village, seeking a fragment of the Codex of Tython that Mellichae possessed. Captain Sarguillo provided the agent with information on the Dark Jedi's location. Despite facing attacks from both Mellichae and the Sith Shadows, the agent successfully defeated them and retrieved the piece of Holocron from the Zabrak. Subsequently, Mellichae was once more placed in custody within Aurilia.
Within the Star Wars Galaxies game, before the implementation of the New Game Enhancements in 2005, Mellichae commanded his Sith Shadows to relentlessly attack the village of Aurilia on Dathomir. Force-sensitive players were required to find and eliminate Mellichae to progress through the Padawan Trials.
With the arrival of the New Game Enhancements in 2005, Mellichae was removed from the game, along with Aurilia. He was brought back to the game, appearing in the Aurilia jail, when Aurilia was reintroduced as part of Chapter 7 in November 2007. Star Wars Galaxies was eventually shut down on December 15, 2011.
