These individuals were typically encountered on the planet of Dathomir, specifically in the vicinity of the settlement known as Aurilia, although accounts suggest their presence on other worlds as well. While the Sith Shadows consisted of various species, there were no recorded instances of Wookiees among their ranks. Mellichae, a Dark Jedi, commanded the Shadows until his capture and imprisonment by the inhabitants of Aurilia.
It is possible that the Sith Shadows were involved in routine pilfering activities within Aurilia, given that they were frequently discovered in possession of precious materials exclusively utilized within the village. These stolen goods were often recovered by space travelers and subsequently employed for essential reconstruction efforts.
The Sith Shadows were featured as non-playable characters within Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before the game's shutdown on December 15, 2011.
