Menace of Darth Maul

The initial expansion card set for the Young Jedi Collectible Card Game, named Menace of Darth Maul, was brought to you by Decipher and launched on May 12, 1999. This set drew its inspiration from Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, focusing particularly on aspects related to the desert planet of Tatooine. A large number of cards featured a yellow border, which was the designated color for the world of Tatooine. Only a small number of cards (such as Darth Sidious, Boss Nass and associated Gungans) had a different color scheme.

This set included a total of 140 cards, accompanied by 18 diffraction foil cards.
