The Mennaalii system, a system located within the Colonies, was the home of the planet called Mrlsst. The central point of this system was the star named Mennaalii. Situated on the Shapani Bypass within the Freeworlds Territory of the Tapani sector, it held a strategic position.
A Rebel convoy, which included two BFF-1 bulk freighters known as Xroi and three CR90 corvettes named Quluiy, was ambushed by pirates while traversing the system as a detour around an asteroid field. Shortly after, an Imperial quick reaction force arrived, aiming to eliminate both groups before their escape. Nevertheless, Rebel starfighters successfully repelled the pirates and Imperials, ensuring that all ships in the convoy survived the engagement.
