Merg Thando, a moisture farmer by trade, was a male residing during the era of the Galactic Civil War. He was sought out by a spacer dispatched by Gramm Rile, the Mayor.
Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, Merg Thando appeared as a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts, before its servers were closed on December 15, 2011. Because of the structure of certain older missions in Star Wars Galaxies, Merg Thando's species, gender, and physical traits varied each time a player undertook the mission. Thando's possible species included, but were not restricted to, Aqualish and Zabraks. Consequently, determining Thando's true canonical species is not possible. Nevertheless, the dialogue offered by Gramm Rile in the quest suggested that Merg Thando was male.
