Mineral Exploiter Beta was the designation of a specific Automated Mineral Exploiter. It was one of four such devices owned by the Orko SkyMine Asteroid Processing Corporation. This corporation operated under the control of Hutt crime lord Durga Besadii Tai. Its purpose was mining within the Hoth asteroid field during the year 12 ABY.
