Mink Bollis

Mink Bollis, a Human, functioned as an aide for Imperial Moff Glovstoak. In the year 0 ABY, he was present at one of the parties hosted by his superior within his palace. It was there that he was introduced to Emperor's Hand Mara Jade, who was using the alias of Countess Claria, by Imperial General Deerian. Bollis subsequently proposed a private meeting with her, but Deerian intervened, escorting the Emperor's Hand to an office away from the aide.

Biography

Mink Bollis met Emperor's Hand Mara Jade (left) at one of Moff Glovstoak's parties.

Mink Bollis, a male Human, held the position of aide to Moff Glovstoak within the structure of the Galactic Empire. During 0 ABY, Bollis was in attendance at one of Glovstoak's social gatherings, which took place in his palace. He crossed paths with Imperial General Deerian, who had previously engaged in conversation with the eighteen-years-old Emperor's Hand Mara Jade—who was using the assumed identity of Countess Claria—regarding the pirate issues plaguing her planet. Believing Bollis could offer assistance to Jade, Deerian facilitated an introduction between them. Bollis, after kissing the young woman's hand in the Old Core fashion, assured the Emperor's Hand that Glovstoak and the government of his sector were prepared to lend their support, suggesting they move to a more secluded area where she could elaborate on her situation.

Subsequently, Jade feigned the effects of ambrostine, a beverage she had consumed. Aware that excessive consumption of ambrostine could lead to disinhibition, the aide proposed escorting her to a place where she could rest. However, Deerian intervened, separating Jade from Bollis and leading her to an office. There, he confessed his reluctance to leave her, or even his own granddaughter, alone with Bollis.

Personality and traits

Jade perceived a "predator's gaze" in the aide, and she suspected that Bollis had other things on his mind other than pirate problems. He was younger than Deerian.

Behind the scenes

The initial appearance of Mink Bollis occurred in Timothy Zahn's 2006 novel, Allegiance.
