This Rodian male served as a soldier for the Galactic Republic during the era of the Cold War. Back in 3642 BBY, at the beginning of the Galactic War, he found himself stationed on Taris, serving under another Rodian, General Minst. These two Rodians looked very similar, making it hard for other species to tell them apart. When Minst discovered that Darth Baras's Sith apprentice was hunting him and Project Siantide, he decided to exploit this similarity. Minst instructed the soldier to put on his uniform and guard the deactivated reactor core in the sewer area where Siantide was processed. Minst was certain the soldier would die, so he set the reactor to explode and took refuge in a secure room nearby. However, after witnessing the massacre of his fellow soldiers, the Rodian soldier broke down and exposed Minst's scheme to the Sith Warrior. Despite begging for his life, the Sith killed him and then pursued the actual General Minst.
