Miranda Doni was a Human pilot of starfighters in the New Republic Defense Fleet, and identified as female.
She was a K-wing pilot assigned to the Fifth Battle Group, and she enjoyed the "heavy hitter" role of the craft. She also sought the rank of commander within her assigned squadron. On one occasion, she and her K-Wing engaged a TIE fighter above a wooded world, successfully using the K-Wing's rear-firing turrets to eliminate the pursuing enemy fighter. During the unsuccessful blockade of Doornik-319, Doni abandoned her bombing run after hearing the appeals of Yevethan prisoners that were transmitted on a public frequency. During the resulting counteroffensive, Doni, along with several other exposed K-wing pilots, suffered death when their starfighters were destroyed by enemy fire.
