During the initial stages of the Clone Wars in 22 BBY, the Galactic Republic embarked on a mission to the planet Krystar. This occurred after Senator Padmé Amidala received intelligence from its representative, Vishar Koss, regarding alleged clone trooper prisoners. Under the guise of a diplomatic aid mission, Amidala traveled to Krystar, while Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and the troopers of the 7th Sky Corps commenced their investigation. Their findings revealed that Regent Queb was, in fact, detaining clone prisoners and trading them to a Trandoshan hunter. Following the rescue of the troopers, Kenobi dispatched a Republic unit to apprehend Queb.
