The task assigned by the Rebel Alliance involved dispatching Luke Skywalker, accompanied by Han Solo and Chewbacca, to Razian for supply negotiations. Princess Leia Organa instructed Skywalker to conduct the negotiations remotely via hologram. Upon the Millennium Falcon's arrival, Skywalker proceeded with the negotiations, while Solo became engrossed in the Rion Swoop race, using some of their credits for entry. Skywalker's bargaining proved fruitful; however, he discovered the credits were missing. During the race, bounty hunters attempted to capture Solo, but Skywalker's intervention enabled Solo to achieve victory. Subsequently, Solo used his winnings to pay Razian for the necessary supplies and secure future deals.
